The 6th edition of Bangalore Literature Festival will be held on 28 and 29 October 2017 at Hotel Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru (Karnataka, India). The two day festival will feature 130 speakers including writers, journalists, historians etc.
Bangalore Literature Festival is an independent and community-funded literary conclave held annually at Bengaluru city. The festival is focused on rekindling the romance with literature and fostering fine reading and writing, especially among the youngsters.

Ramachandra Guha – historian, Girish Karnad – actor, film director, writer and playwright , Mamta Sagar – Kannada poet, playwright and translator etc will participate in the festival.
Bangalore Literature Festival 2017 will have the sessions titled Speak Up / Speak Out, The Red Couch and CLF. Speak Up and Speak Out, the theme of 6th edition of Bangalore Literature Festival focuses on direct conversations. Children Literature Fun or C L F is a session for kids with many activities.
Performances like Romantic Fantasy – A Piano Duo by Nattalia K Kapylova and Liudmila Alizarchyk (28 Oct, 07:30 pm) , Concert by Sarod Maestros Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash accompanied by Vijay Ghate (29 Oct, 07:30 pm ) etc are also conducted as part of the festival.
